In October 2017, Cabinet agreed a request to
terminate the Commercial Street Development Agreement and to funds
being released from the Economic Growth Capital Investment Fund to
retain the beneficiary interest in a parcel of land within the
Commercial Street car parks (known as the Zissler strip). Min

To terminate the Commercial Street Development
Agreement and release funds from the Economic Growth Capital
Investment Fund to retain the beneficiary interest in the parcel of
land known as the Zissler Strip within the Commercial Street car
park.
Reason - To enable the Council to regain control of the site and be
in a position to consider future development
opportunities.
