Following the acquisition of land at Neasham
Road, Darlington Cabinet (Min C102/Jan/19 refers), agreed in
principle, the disposal of the site for a future social, private
and affordable housing development. Subject to planning permission
approval and detailed terms being reported to a future Cabinet
meeting.
To dispose of the site at Neasham Road for a
future, social, private and affordable housing development.
Reason - To provide a site capable of contributing to the delivery
of Council housing stock and other affordable/social homes to
satisfy the Borough’s housing needs.
