Request to waive contract procedure rules and
agree direct contract award to Barnardos in respect of the
provision of CSE and Missing from Home.
That the contract procedure rules be waived
and direct contract award to Barnardos be agreed in respect of the
provision of CSE and Missing from Home for a contract term of 13
months at a cost of £103,919.85.
Reason - The service is critical to enable the Council to fulfil
their duties under the Children Act. A re-procurement is currently
not an option due to the current COVID-19 situation. A procurement
exercise will be carried out to implement a new contract following
the Direct Award.
