Report of the Executive Director Environment, Highways and Community Services

The Executive Director Environment, Highways and Community Services submitted a report (previously circulated) to give consideration to a review of a Private Hire Driver Licence in light of an ongoing investigation by Durham Constabulary.

The driver did not attend the meeting and the Assistant Licensing Manager advised Members that he had been informed in advance that the driver was unwell. Members considered the action that they wished to take.

RESOLVED – That the driver be invited to attend the next ordinary meeting of the General Licensing Sub Committee for consideration of his application.
