Death of former-Councillor Rachel Mills – The Mayor announced the death of former-Councillor Rachel Mills, who had passed away on 29th October 2024. The Mayor referred to Councillor Mills’ years of service.
Death of former-Councillor John Vasey - The Mayor announced the death of former-Councillor John Vasey, who had passed away on 17th November 2024. The Mayor referred to Councillor Vasey’s years of serviceand highlighted that he had been Escort to his wife, former-Councillor Lee Vasey, during her Mayoral Year in 2011/12.
Members stood and observed a short silence in respect of their former colleagues.
