The Head of Education and Inclusions, Children and Families and Learning submitted a report (previously circulated) requesting that consideration be given to a recommendation on an application which had been received to fill a vacancy of a Local Authority (LA) Governor on a School Governing Body.

The Panel were advised that the vacant position for the Governor of St Teresa’s RC VA Primary School has not been filled following the resignation of the previous LA Governor a year ago, this was due to the plans for a proposed academy conversion which has not progressed as planned and as such the vacant position needs to be filled. An application has been received for the vacancy.

RESOLVED – That, subject to the Disclosure and Barring Checking process, the following appointment be made for a term of four years commencing on the date specified:
