Site At Mount Pleasant Farm And Stag House Farm, Newton Lane, Darlington

Minutes:

19/00182/RM1 - Reserved matters relating to details of access, appearance, landscaping, layout and scale for residential development comprising 464 no dwellings at Stag House Farm (Phases 1 - 5) pursuant to outline planning permission reference number 15/00450/OUT dated 31 October 2018 comprising approximately 1200 dwellings, residential and link roads, public open space, landscaping and drainage works together with education and playing fields.

 

1.      (In reaching its decision, the Committee took into consideration the Planning Officers report (previously circulated) and three letters of objection received).
Reason – That Reserved Matters relating to access, appearance, landscaping, layout and scale be approved subject to the following conditions.

 

2.      Notwithstanding the details shown on the approved plans, precise details of the tree species, number and locations within the landscaping scheme shall be submitted to and approved in writing by the Local Planning Authority prior to the construction of the first dwelling. Upon approval of the scheme, it shall be implemented concurrently with the carrying out of the development, or within such extended period as may be agreed in writing by the Local Planning Authority. Thereafter any trees or shrubs removed, dying or severely damaged or becoming seriously diseased shall be replaced, and the landscaping scheme maintained for a period of five years to the satisfaction of the Local Planning Authority.
Reason - In the interests of the visual appearance of the site.
