Report of the Assistant Director of Education and Inclusion.

The Assistant Director of Education and Inclusion submitted a report (previously circulated) requesting that consideration be given to an application received for a new appointment of a Local Authority (LA) Governor of a school governing body.

The Panel were advised that the current LA Governor ofWhinfield Primary School had been removed due to persistent non-attendance at meetings.  Councillor Durham had expressed an interest in the role and had submitted an application for the Panel’s consideration.

RESOLVED – That the appointment of Councillor Durham as the LA Governor at Whinfield Primary School be approved.
