Acquisition of land at Snipe Lane

Acquisition of 4.8 acres of land and house adjacent to the land acquired by the Council from Darlngton Farmers Auction Mart (DFAM) for residential development. This land gives the Council control to stop any conflicting uses next to the development land and it can either be sold for low density residential development or self-build plots now or it can be held longer term and developed as higher volume residential development in the longer term.
