Reason - The routes will be retendered in 2021 and prices remained fixed from the initial quotation process.

16/06/2020 - Reduction in Cremation Capacity ref: 1004    Recommendations Approved

From week commencing 20 April 2020 the number of available cremation slots was increased from 58 to 75 per week to cope with the potential increased demand from COVID-19. Following a reduction in cases and deaths, demand has reduced to between 40%-50% therefore from week commencing 6 July 2020, the number of available cremations per week will return to normal capacity of 58.

10/06/2020 - Additional Crew for Back Lanes and Fly Tipping ref: 865    Recommendations Approved

To support the back lane and fly tipping project, additional resources are required (1 crew: 2 staff and 1 vehicle) to provide a responsive service to build confidence in the local communities in the targeted areas.
The additional resource will be available for 3 months, July to September 2020 and will be funded from the Street Scene Futures Fund budget.
